The PC-3000 SSD Software System works in conjunction with one of the three current hardware platforms - PC-3000 Portable Pro, PC-3000 Express or PC-3000 UDMA - and is suitable for SSDs with SATA, PATA, mSATA, M.2, PCIe (NVMe/AHCI), PCIe x16 Appple Macbook, Apple Macbook PRO A1706/1708, Intel Optane, U.2 /U.3, CFexpress interfaces and capacities from 32 GB to 2 TB from various manufacturers such as OCZ, Corsair, Crucial, RunCore, A-DATA, G.Skill, Micron, Plextor, Intel, Samsung, Seagate, SanDisk, Kingston and others.
The PC-3000 SSD includes a set of specialised utilities for working with solid-state drives. This set includes the Universal Utility for diagnostics of all SSDs based on the ATA-8 specification (both currently existing models and those that will be manufactured in the future) and the Active Utilities (Special Utilities) intended for working with a specific drive model in factory mode. It enables in-depth diagnostics of SSDs, performing service operations, rewriting the drive's microcode, directly accessing memory chips, performing low-level formatting that blocks the damaged cells and enters their addresses into the defect table, and performing many other useful operations.
